On May 25, 2006, Public Act 162 (sponsored by Sen. Pavlov) was signed into law, banning human trafficking in MI. In 2014, we enacted 21 new reforms to help stop this modern-day slavery and support its survivors. We now have some of the country’s strongest human trafficking laws.
